I'm very happy to say that Lands of Darkness #1: The Barrow Grounds has been nominated for Best Adventure in the 2009 GenCon Ennie Awards. Being nominated is, IMO, a great honor, but I have to admit I would love to win even more, so when voting comes please consider wee 'ole XRP. :)

It's been a while since the last post and things have been pretty busy here in XRP land. I've been working on the adventure I'd like to include with the rules set. It's set in the Waukegan/Gurnee area north of Chicago. I've got some great locations and critter ideas from working on the small scale. Well it's up! Preview #3 for the Advanced Player's Guide contains all that #2 did as well as most of the non-powers text of the Nature Priest class.  Also, along with the Plague preview we've included a preview of Lands of Darkness #1: The Barrow Grounds. Just sent my parents, sister, and niece packing off to the second leg of their vacation after a good 4 days. Much good food and conversation abounded. Finished the maps for the first Lands of Darkness product. It feels a bit odd to do tactical maps as that's not something I've done before, but it's, IMO, the default assumption with the new edition so they're done. Didn't get any work on S&SS done yesterday. Suzi and I are collaborating on our first 4e product so we hashed out all the monsters in the adventure and today I'm going to get quite a bit of the mapping done.
